Quilt commission quote kit

A commission quote has to settle four things before you cut: what the deposit covers, how many changes are included, who buys the batting, and when the balance is due. This spreadsheet is the quote that puts those in writing, with a checklist to tick before you send it. The price itself comes from the free custom quilt pricing calculator.

What it is not

It will not replace the yardage or binding calculators. It will not run your shop stock; the free inventory sheet and the Seller Back-Office Kit do that. It will not set your rates for you.

Questions

Is this a quilt pricing calculator?

No. Free calculators already do price-floor maths. This kit is the paperwork: a quote you send, a deposit line, a revision/scope checklist, and a log of quotes you have sent.

Is this the Seller Back-Office Kit?

No. Back-Office is shop inventory, costing, ledger and invoices for products you sell repeatedly. This kit is for one-off quilt commissions for a named client.

Does it tell me what rate to charge?

You bring your rates on the Rate card tab. The sheet multiplies quantities and applies your deposit %. It does not invent market rates.

Is it a lawyer-reviewed contract?

No. The checklist prompts you to say deposit, revisions, timeline and supplies in plain language. Large or commercial jobs still need a proper agreement.

Can I buy it now?

Not yet. The spreadsheet is built, but checkout hasn't opened. Leave your email for one message when it does.

Google Sheets or Excel?

Both.

Is there a pack with the longarm planner?

Yes. The Quilter who sells pack (planned at $49) pairs this kit with the longarm rate planner. Buy the pack if you need both; buy this page alone if you only need quote paperwork.
